**MUST READ FOOTBALL BULLETIN**

Dear Common People

Unlike the Champions League, two British teams are competing in the Final of the Under 9 Trophy Tournament at the weekend. The Scorpions are up against the Stingrays to see who has the most venomous attack, there should be a sting in the tail. Cheer them on at Grandpont, kick-off is 10:30am Saturday. Moreover, the Lionnesses are also in the Girls Cup Final in Didcot, it should be savage. More Silverware than the Spanish Conquistadors! herewegoherewegoherewego etc.

1. SUMMER PARTY IS ON SATURDAY 23 JUNE
Stamp this date on your childrens' foreheads please, so wait to hear what you can do to make this event a success.

2. PITCHES REMAIN OPEN
Feel free to train whenever you like on our pitches, just contact the Saturday Fixtures Secretary Ann in advance. They may be closed soon though, so fill your boots.

3.  NEW COACH NEEDED FOR UNDER 6 TEAM NEXT SEASON
Anyone help distribute flyers to St Ebbes/New Hinksey/Larkrise/SSMJ schools? We need someone to start our new football nursery starting in September next year for Foundation and Year 1 footballers. I can print the flyers, and drop them off for you to dish out. Email or text me 07795 847898.

4.  WINTER TRAINING PLANS
Sorry but each team needs to make its own arrangements for Winter Training, I havent got the headroom to manage this. Favoured locations are St Gregorys School, Oxford Brookes at Hinksey Hill or Tilsley Park Abingdon. Even though we have floodlights, the sensitivity of Grandpont pitches mean they cannot withstand training over winter. So I recommend you make other arrangements. I suggest you start looking now as all the best slots will be snapped up soon. Over to you guys.

5.  YOU DONT HAVE TO FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO PARTY
If you wish to use the Clubhouse facilities for an end of season party/barbacue, please get in touch. I can make all the arrangements, this costs nothing.   It would make a useful reason to call together your parents for an end of season review, and plan for next season.
